Each speaker combines an 8" polypropylene woofer with a 1" pivoting PEI dome tweeter. The woofer delivers the body and bass of music and movies, while the tweeter can be aimed toward the listening area for clear, crisp highs. Frequency response is 40Hz - 20kHz, sensitivity is 87 dB and power handling is rated at 120W.

The woofers use butyl rubber surrounds instead of foam, for deeper bass, a wider frequency response and a much longer service life. With an 8-ohm load, the ACE800 works with standard stereo amplifiers, AV receivers and multi-zone systems.

The speakers mount flush with no visible trim ring. A micro-flange grille is held on by strong magnets and sits close to the ceiling, and the grilles are spray paintable to match the room.

Installation is simple: cut a 9.37" hole, connect the wire to the spring-loaded binding posts, set the speaker in place and tighten the front screws to lock the built-in dog-ear brackets. Each speaker measures 10.79" in diameter with 4.41" of mounting depth.
