Rather than a wide flange found on most built-in speakers, BLACK speakers feature flange-free Perfect Edge™ magnetic grilles that minimize the visible footprint of the speaker for a clean, elegant and unobtrusive appearance.
Installed during new home construction or remodeling before sheet rock is hung, pre-construction brackets allow you to precisely position where speakers will be installed. The aluminum bracket wings can be stapled, nailed or screwed to studs or joists. Sold in pairs.

New construction brackets are typically used when the studs or joists are exposed before mounting the sheetrock or ceiling tiles. In addition to providing extra support for the speaker, the brackets let you determine the exact placement of the speaker while providing a template to cut the mounting hole. The aluminum bracket wings can be stapled, nailed or screwed to studs or joists. Sold in pairs.
