A solid high-power amplifier does more than make the sound you love louder. A well-built power amp cleans up sound quality, improves bass response and delivers the right amount of power to efficiently drive multiple speakers in distributed audio system or home theater. Our AMP300 is a flagship amp that sells well for a reason. This 350-Watt A/B two-channel dual source amplifier is ideal for use as a remote amplifier to power your whole house audio system or as a single amp for a dedicated home theater or media room, and you won’t find an amp with the same features that we pack in at such an affordable price. It is stable at 2 ohm load.
Dual Source Switching The AMP300 also includes dual source switching to connect two audio sources and toggle between them for greater listening flexibility. Automatic source switching switches between connected sources with a priority signal-sensing feature, so if a DVD player is connected to input 2, then you decide to stream a movie through a game console, when the console is turned on, the AMP300 automatically switches to that source. The AMP300 also includes a variable delay control that lets you adjust the amount of time needed to "listen" for a signal from your main input, between 3 and 15 seconds. This prevents gaps between music tracks from accidentally switching your inputs. This high power amplifier includes two RCA signal level inputs so with the addition of an RCA-to-mini stereo cable (sold separately), you can connect your smartphone or other device. Plenty of Power for the Price Pair our AMP300 with the power-hungry speakers, and the sound quality will transform your listening experience. Rated at 350 Watts per channel peak power (470 Watts Bridged Mono into 8 ohms), the AMP300 can be configured as bridged or stereo. In bridged mode, you can combine the left and right channels into one audio channel which bumps up the power to a whopping 470 Watts (8 ohms). When playing dual sources, switch to stereo mode which reduces the power to 350 Watts per channel. It is the only high current 2 ohm load stable amp in the market.
Price-defying Features The AMP 300 also includes two sets of speaker outputs with front panel controls, auto-on signal sensing or 12-volt trigger, rear panel master level controls, dual line-level inputs with priority override switching and dual voltage of 110V/220V and auto signal sensing. This amp has a clean, brushed metal front panel with a volume control, power on and off button and a balance control knob to adjust the balance between the left and right channels and dial in just the right sound level mix. Built-in, illuminated dual voltage meters allow you to monitor the volume level readings, while special protection circuitry safeguards the amp from a short circuit.

Speaker Selector Features
Designed to distribute audio to up to eight pairs of speakers, the ISS8 High Power Speaker Selector puts you in control of your whole house audio by giving you the option to play any pair, a combination of pairs, or all pairs of speakers simultaneously and control the volume. Easy to connect with a low-profile design that fits into a cabinet or equipment rack, the ISS8 speaker selector includes a dual source input so you can choose between two audio sources, and we even include die cut labels that fit within the recessed area on the buttons so you can label your audio zones (e.g., Bedroom, Kitchen, etc.,).
A passive device that connects to a high-current amplifier, front-panel push buttons let you turn each pair of speakers on or off independently, and the ISS8 also includes impedance-matching circuitry so you can safely drive all eight pair at once without damaging your equipment. Keep in mind that running eight pairs of speakers will require a high-current amp such as our AMP300 or a multi-zone amp such as our MX1260. Using an A/V receiver alone is not recommended.
Easy to Connect You don’t need to be a tech-head to install the ISS8 speaker selector. We designed in European-style input/output connectors that are removeable, which gives you better leverage when terminating cable than traditional spring-loaded terminals. This speaker selector takes either four or two conductor speaker wire (up to 14-guage) stripped at the ends that are inserted into the screw-down input/output terminals for a tight fit to ensure the best signal transmission and sound quality possible.
Protecting Valuable Audio Equipment with Impedance Protection When connecting multiple speakers to an amplifier, you need to stay above the amp’s minimum load requirements. Going below the impedance rating can overheat or even damage expensive equipment. The ISS8 includes selectable impedance matching protection circuitry that allows a single amplifier to safely power multiple pairs of speakers. This speaker selector handles 140 watts per channel total input power without the manual protection engaged and 70 watts per channel with the protection engaged.

Volume Control Features
OSD Audio’s SVC100 is an impedance-matching volume control that lets you adjust the volume of a pair of speakers independently of other speakers within a whole house audio system. Ideal for areas such dining or conference rooms where you may want softer volumes or for saunas or garages where you may want higher volumes, the SVC100 maintains the full hi-fi audio frequency response with no low frequency roll-off. Equipped with the same features of volume controls that cost twice as much, the SCV100 is rated at 100 Watts peak and includes adjustable jumpers to add up to eight pairs of 8-ohm speakers simultaneously. The impedance-matching feature helps stabilize the ohm load going back to the amp or receiver to avoid overheating and damaging expensive equipment. A complete volume control kit that fits into a standard single-gang box, the SVC100 also includes the junction box, screws and assorted color trim plates (white, ivory and almond) so you can choose the color that best matches the room. This versatile whole house volume control is compatible with almost any dedicated audio zone or whole house system, and the 12-step rotary knob adjusts the volume from inaudible to loud and everything in between.
What Is Impedance Protection? Speakers are specified by impedance, which is a measurement of resistance to alternating current, and a common value for speakers is 8 ohms. When you’re connecting multiple speakers to a receiver or amplifier, you need to stay above the amp’s minimum load requirements because going below the impedance rating can overheat or even damage expensive equipment. The SVC100 allows you to match the impedance with the number of speakers being controlled with the capabilities of your amp. A basic multi-room system will typically have an amplifier/receiver, a speaker selector, four to eight pairs of speakers, and volume controls. Impedance-matching volume controls feature three settings depending on how many speakers you are connecting. For one to two pairs of 8-ohm speakers, the setting is 1/2x; for three or four pairs of 8 ohm speakers, the setting is 4X. Keep in mind that volume controls do not add gain (volume) to your speakers but simply attenuate the volume up or down. During setup, you'll set the source volume to its optimum level, then the volume control turns the sound down to inaudible levels.
